相較前代更為精緻的外型設計，Puccini在規格上也有相同程度的進步。
包括非常重要的Word Clock外部時鐘輸入功能，而轉盤結構也升級到Esoteric-UMK5，承盤動作比P8i流暢許多。
Puccini採用dCS Ring DAC的專利技術，以5bit做超取樣，同時內建Upsampling與DSD轉換功能。Puccini極低的的輸出阻抗可選擇2V或6V輸出電壓，若非最頂尖的前級，直入後級可以得到更純淨的音質。
有著高解析力的Puccini呈現流暢、自然的音質，平衡中性、毫不做作，不強調任何頻段，不帶任何個性，精準、明確的處理層次，就像來到演奏現場，還原音樂本來的面貌。
